Business Analyzer error

Hi,

Installation and configuration are successful.

Running Business Analyzer is keeping showing Connecting to server then an error loading role.

I'm able to select and running the reports as normal.

SSRS are running fine.

Business Analyzer configuration file is the showing the right URL (http:\\server-name\ReportServer).

Is there any thing else I can do to correct this issue?

Hi Nataraj,

As I mentioned SSRS reports are working and used fine.

The problem is only in Business Analyzer even the reports within it are selected and working fine except the error at the start of Business Analyzer.

Hi Imad,

can you reset the Business Analyser as mentioned in the below link and let me know the "Connecting to server" message has been resolved.

Hi Natarajan,

The issue still coming up. Connecting to server then Error loading.

Try to re-install the Business Analyzer with providing appropriate Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services reports URL as below format.

http://servername/ReportServer

You can find the URLs for your environment in Reporting Services Configuration Manager.

After completed the Business Analyzer installation, open the configuration window to check whether the error persist.

HI Imad,

Please make sure your server login must have assigned with at-least Browser role in SSRS report server. if your server user id is never assigned in the report server security settings, then you get the above error.

The URL is correct and I'm administrator.

As I mentioned I'm to able to access and run the reports from within SSRS and Business Analyzer even within Great Plains..

Hi Imad,

I have reproduce the above issue in GP2010 SP4

previously, I have configured report server with SSRS and BA, my user id is assigned with Content Manager & Browser role in Folder settings in Report server.

to reproduce the issue, removing my user id under Folder settings in Report server. then i face the above issue by unable to change the role.

after re-adding my user id in Report server, the BA works normally by selecting the roles.
