Need for SOX purpose.

Logins created from certificates or asymmetric keys are used for code signing purposes. They CANNOT be used to connect to SQL Server. Additionally, while creating a login from a certificate or asymmetric key, the certificate or asymmetric key needs to exist in the master database.
So what is being code signed? Mostly a bunch of CLR assemblies loaded onto SQL Server, as follows:
DYNAMICSv16_0_0GPWorkflowEngineLogin: Used for the workflow engine
DYNAMICSv4_5_11NewtonsoftJsonLogin: Used for the serializing and deserializing JSON documents for the SBA web services
DYNAMICSv4_0_30319SQLCLRSysDirServLogin: This is used by both SBA web services and the web services to access directory services
