Searching and multiple customers at once

Hello, I am looking for a solution that will allow me to search for multiple opportunities at once with a list of customer names in order to assign them to a specific person. Currently doing it one-by-one is too time consuming and I am would be very grateful if someone here could give me some advice.

Thank you!

    Hi,

You could search for the Opportunities in an advanced find and then highlight all the records and edit them and change the owner.

Hi, thank you for your answer. Excuse my ignorance but i cant quite find the answer in your link how i can search for multiple opportunities by name in advanced find?

for example i have a list of names of properties in a spreadsheet that looks like this:

    NATTVARDSBARNEN * 5

    VÄRJAN * 1

    FASANEN * 13

    KLABBEN * 1

    OLJAN * 29

    TIMMERMANNEN * 30

Can i paste this list somewhere in advanced search to find these opportunities all at once?

You cant paste a list into advanced find, you will have to build the query yourself.

It would look something like this:

I have no idea if you are searching by the name of the opportunity or some other value.

Hi Thomas, thank you for taking the time, i really appreciate it. Yes i am searching for the name of the opportunity.

The problem with this solution is that i have a list of around a thousand names i need to input which would take the same amount of time as assigning them one-by-one.

    Ah I see,

You will have to export opportunities to excel and update the values. Then import the list back into CRM.

If you have any technical skills you can use SQL, SSIS & KingswaySoft to bulk update records. www.kingswaysoft.com/.../download
