Power BI Report - How to generate Item by Bin Content

Hi everyone,

We currently have a Power BI report for Item by Location.  Is it possible that we go one step deeper to generate Item by Bin Content?  I am trying to connect the warehouse entries table but cannot find such table.

The Item Ledger Entries not have the bin content information available.  It seems we need to add a second table with the bin information.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

Kind regards,

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

Use Table 7312 Warehouse Entries. You have Item No., Bin Code Quantity.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

I get data directly from Business Central online and found that I cannot get the production live company data.  All data are sample companies.

And cannot find the 7312 table.  Any ideas?

    Hello,

That is strange. Maybe let's revisit if the BC Company has been setup. Follow these steps:

    • Open Power BI from your Office 365 portal or visit PowerBI.com.

    • Click the “Get Data” button in the bottom left corner of your Power BI dashboard.

    • Under the Discover Content heading Select “Get” in the Services tile.

    • In the pop up window, use the search box in the top right to search for “Business Central.”

    • Select the template you wish to use, select “Get it Now” to install the app.

    • Once it is installed, select "Connect" under the Connect Your Data
    • Pick the Company Name. - Production one missing.

    • Enter your credentials.

    • Wait for your data to populate and you have just integrated Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central!

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
