How to keep settings like "show wide layout view" when changing the URL?

The user can select the following settings on pages:

- Show filter pane

- Show as tiles

- Collapse the FactBox pane

- Show wide layout view

These settings are lost when the URL changes. How to keep the settings?

Where are these settings stored? Can they be transferred to another server (e.g. from the production system to the test system)?

I do not think you can save those settings. But the system should remember the setup of the page until next time you enter the same page in the same enviornment.
So when you return to a page it should keep the "layout" from your last visit to the same page.,
