How to export case entities having notes/tasks/activities in Dynamics CRM 2011?

Hi guys!

I've had many case entities and those have tasks/notes inside each case. Is there a way to export the case entities with their corresponding notes/tasks/activities? I can only export the cases but not the information inside.

Any feedback on this is greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much.

What would happen if you opened a Case record, navigated to the Activities link, switched the view to "All Activities" and then used the "Export Activities" button in the ribbon at the top?

Alternatively you could also do an Advanced Find for Activities and use the same Export button.

    Hello,

I have exported the cases database (47.000 records) and I ve just realise Notes are not included, I m nnot at the office now to try your steps but I m very courious if this proccess works as a batch operation for the whole cases at a time or I can do it just for one case at a time ? Having so many records the batch exporting is the only alternative I have.

Sorry if my question is stupid, I m really a beginner and I ve start working with CRM since last month.

    Thanks a lot

Post resurrection but this might be helpful for someone. Using this should give you a decent list but I'm having trouble getting the notes formatted properly. I use this type of summary view for conference calls with clients to go over open cases.

I tried to do something similar in excel templates in 2016, but there are no xml formatting objects like word templates... and using the word templates on the account entity with the 1:n relationship of case added you cant filter the repeating values... it just lists everything. Being able to filter the data that goes into the word template would be what I would need to make this a nice automated way to generate a clean report

    select * from (

    SELECT

    incidentbase.title,

    incidentbase.TicketNumber as 'Case Number',

    contactbase.FullName as 'Caller',

    SystemUserBase.FullName as 'Case Owner',

    IncidentBase.CreatedOn,

    IncidentBase.new_ResolutionTime as 'Case Time',

    AnnotationBase.notetext,

RANK() over (partition by incidentbase.TicketNumber order by incidentbase.CreatedOn desc,AnnotationBase.CreatedOn) as RN

    FROM [IncidentBase]

    right join AnnotationBase on AnnotationBase.objectid=incidentbase.incidentid

    join SystemUserBase on SystemUserBase.SystemUserId=incidentbase.ownerid

    join ContactBase on contactbase.ContactId=IncidentBase.ResponsibleContactId

    where

incidentbase.customerid='YOUR CUSTOMER ID GUID GOES HERE'

    and incidentbase.StateCode=0

    ) a

    where a.RN = 1
