Is there a way within Dynamics GP 10 to EDI or do you have to have a 3rd party addon?

Hi Jason,
There are a few ways to become EDI compliant...
1) Manually key data into web-forms, re-key data into your ERP system
2) Build your own import/export file based functionality with validations and exception handling
3) Buy EDI Software, VAN, AS2, FTP, then map, test and validate each trading partner transaction - maintaining your own EDI operation
4) Outsource it to a pay per use provider.
We provide a number of tools to aid your evaluation of the space, let me know if we can help.
Thanks,
Chris Brunelli
Hi Jason,
I had a client that only needed to EDI POs to a single vendor. We just used a report writer to create the necessary file that we uploaded to the vendor.
Kind regards,
Leslie
You must use a third party product. There are a number of good ones on the market. Talk to your partner about recommendations. The correct one for you often involves the trading partners you do business with and the number of transactions to be handled by EDI
