How to restrict access per environment

I would like to know the best way to restrict access per environment in Business Central Online

I have 20 licensed users. 10 of them have to access to Environment A but they cannot access to environment B

What is the best way to implement that security?

    Use roles and add the company to that specific role (filer per company is useful for this scope).

    You can enable and disable user per environment.

    You can also control access per company inside the environment.

    We would like to split the licensing process with the permissions per environment. In that way a licensed user cannot access to the data until the administrator grant access to the environment with the appropiate "profile". It seems that using roles in the company is a good approach.
