Generating Custom Sample data

Hi All,

We are in the process of getting a customized CRM solution. I am wondering if I can generate custom sample data.

I know it can be done using template (exporting and importing) manually. Can this be generated automatically?

Secondly, I can write a console program that generates random data for the entities, but how can I flag it as sample data?

Can the custom sample data be enable or disable?

    If you want sample data for out of box entities like account,contact case , you install sample data that comes with crm. To import sample data go to settings->Data Management->Sample data where you add/remove sample data from the system.

    If you have custom entities and you want to import sample data for those then use the import data to import sample data . This way if you want to remove import data , its a just one click job to remove all imported records using system. For each data import system creates import job select that job and click on delete all records imported using this job will remove all records from the system

    Is it possible if I recommend only using the Microsoft Sample Data? Or you already did this but you need another sample data not just from Microsoft?
