hi,

i am using Dynamics 365 online crm v9.1.   i create a demo custom entity like below. i try to add some client script on the form.

00001.png

you can see there is a note section.  i enabled  'notes' feature.

what i want to do is  that   when i upload a file to 'note', when it finished, it will trigger an event so that i can do something else.

i try to use  Attribute OnChange Event  , i list all attributes but not find   note attribute. so i can not make use of this event.

All above operations are done on the form via client script.  is that possible?  can you help me?

Thanks

    Hi,

JavaScript on the creation of notes is not possible. You can write a plugin on Annotation entity to achieve the functionality.

With the next trigger, will it do logic with the current entity or on another entity? If it’s another entity then using custom workflow activity will suffice but if it’s for the current form then a plug-in is probably the best way to go.

    Hi,

You can write a plugin on Annotation entity as Post Operation.

Here you can find the Plugin sample:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/common-data-service/tutorial-write-plug-in
