Is there a way to automate user acceptance testing for Business Central?
A test recorder for example?

Business Central comes with a extensive test framework that you can use for testing. Pretty much you have the same tools available as Microsoft use for testing the application.
The book Josh is pointing you to is a must if you want to do anything around automated tests in Business Central.
