Hi All,

This is something related to label changes.  We have done it in GP say for eg from Item Number to Product Code using Modifier.  This works fine in GP.  But how can we achieve the same in Business portal.

    There are many changes in the strings/Messages which will be in Forms.DIC and Reports.DIC.  The below are some of the business terms which was changed in GP.  Please find below.

    Site to Terminal

    Sales Territory to Profit Center

    Item to Product

    E.g.

    Item List to Product List

    Item Inquiry to Product Inquiry

    Items to Products

    Item to Product

    ITEM TRANSACTION INQUIRY REPORT to PRODUCT TRANSACTION INQUIRY REPORT

    Arunprasath,

    I should have been more specific.  What I was wondering was where specifically within Business Portal the fields were located.  If you're referring to some of the querying capabilities of Business Portal, you can modify the column names within the queries so that your desired name is displayed to your users.  This is a simple change within the modify query wizard.

    If they're located within one of the features like Requisition Management, Project Time and Expense, etc., you can modify some of the labels.  This isn't something that would be upgraded moving forward, but it would be a simple change within the aspx pages.
