How can I change color of bar graph based on value?

How can I assign colors to (dashboard) graphs based on value? My field has values of only 0 or 1 and my graph type is 100% stacked bar. For certain views CRM will assign 0=green and 1=red and for other views (different data) it will be 0=red and 1=green.

I want to set the color fixed so that it is always the same, which would save the end users a lot of confusion. I've looked through various ways of XML chart editing but have yet to find an answer. It seems to me that CRM has some sort of underlying algorithm based on the data by which it assigns the colors.

Any ideas?

Here is a link to a blog posting that will take care of your requirements. I won't repeat the steps here.

Thanks Jerry, you would think this is the answer however the problem is that CRM jumbles which of the values is displayed first in the graph (0 or 1), so by switching the color of the first and second that doesn't necessarily mean that 0 is now always displayed first and 1 second.

I'm looking for a way to say "if value is equal to 0 then display as red" and "if value is equal to 1 then display as green".

Not sure if that's even possible but just trying to see if others had the same issue?

This seems to be the solution for a stacked column chart, however really struggling to get it to work on a simple bar chart
