I would like to find out what is the main purpose of effective Permission, when we already can know/see from Permissions what permissions in a permission set are there?

Hello,
The "Effective Permissions" will show you the end result from the multiple permission sets assigned to the user.
It is especially useful when you are using "Exclude" and "Security Filter".
It will also help you to identify which permission sets provided the permission.
In this example, rather than individually look into the permission set, the best approach is using "Effective Permissions" to look at the end result.
For example, even though you have RIMD "Yes" on ObjectID 36.
You are only allowed to insert "Invoice" and read Sales Quote due to security filter applied.
