Management Reporter - displaying blank rows or not

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport

HI folks

In Management Reporter I want to surpress rows that have blanks or zeros with the exception of a total row.  If a total row adds to zero I still want to print that zero.

in the report settings I have display rows with no amounts turned off and display blanks for zero amounts turned off.

On the row format on the total row I have

$###0.00;($###0.00);0

in the format override column.

I thought I had these set so that the total row would print but i'm not getting the total row.

Does the report settings beat the row format format override?

How do I set up such a row?

thanks!

    Hi Ian,

Here is what I did to make this work:

--In the report, check the option 'Display rows with no amounts.'

--Uncheck the option 'Display blanks for zero amounts.'

--In the row, add X0 in the Print Control, to the rows with accounts.  Leave the X0 off the TOT row.

When the report is generated, the X0 will suppress the zero amounts from the account from printing.  The TOT row will still print with a zero because of the settings in the report.
