Forward Flushing vs. Backward Flushing

Hi:

I understand that that choice of "Forward" or "Backward" for the Flushing Method determines when consumption takes place.

But, is that all?

No matter which method that you choose, can you still make changes to labor time in the Released Production Order and therefore have variances created?
