Online Exchange Rate Service from European Central Bank in Business Central

Hi,

I want to create a currency exchange rate service for INR to EUR. The LCY is INR and the additional reporting currency is Euro. I am trying to connect with European Central Bank   https://www.ecb.europa.eu/stats/eurofxref/eurofxref-daily.xml and update the exchange rate on daily basis using Exchange Rate Service setup. 

But in the field mapping for Currency Exch. Service setup, I can get only USD as the currency in source. See the below screen shot and advice me to configure with Euro for the exchange service of INR to Euro.

    Hi, If I have understood the web service, the base currency is the EUR, so it would be read for every 1 EUR how much is represented in each currency.

    So according to the image above, if you were to analyze the INR I would say that for every 1 EUR = 88.6945,

    Yes, that is the exchange rate for Euro to INR. But I couldn't to take the currency as EURO in the source for Currency Exch. Service Setup, and it is USD by default. See the screen shot.

    Should I import exchange rate in xml  by set up Data Exchange Definition or it connect to www.ecb.europa.eu/.../eurofxref-daily.xml by configuring Exchange Rate Service?

    Hi Nitin,

    Thanks for sharing the details. It is working with www.floatrates.com/.../inr.xml, but the issue with www.ecb.europa.eu/.../eurofxref-daily.xml. However now it's fine.
