"You cannot change the value of the SystemId field" error on sales order line in BC15

Hi,

I'm working on BC15.

When I select new item and new variant on already existing sales order line I get the error "You cannot change the value of the SystemId field. Table: Sales Line Identification fields and values:...".

Any idea how to fix this error?

First you should check if you have any customization in your system that might cause this.

And is the order open and have there been any shipment or invoicing on this order?

HI,

Pls check code on ITEM NO validation. Is there any customization.

Also troubleshoot with debugger, you will get the actual answere.

I have removed all the extension from BC 15 but still this error exists. Now there are no customization on "sales order subform" page or "sales line" table

Yes I have done some debugging, error is shown at currPage.saverecord.

Hi, will uninstalling all extensions and recreating the order also have this problem?
I think this could also be the problem with this order.

Yes I have uninstalled all extension created new order but till I get this error.

If the create new order I don't get any error but I revisit this order and edit existing sales order line the error is generated.

Thank you so much for the suggestions.

I have compared the field "No." onValidate code with BC 21 and found that CurrPage.update was missing.

So I added it and now issue is fixed.
