Automated Posting of Integrated Batches

Dear Experts,

Using eConnect, i am developing some Subledger Transactions Integration. As we know that these transactions will be saved in a batch which needs to be manually posted from GP Application.

My Client wants these batches to be posted immediately as soon as they enter transactions in Source System.

They are not concerned about Batch Approval or Edit Posting Journal.

I have plans to develop an Individual Posting Interface using C# Console Application basically referring all Batch Tables and setup it as SQL Job.

Is there any alternative method to achieve this?

Any insights or ideas will be much helpful for me to initiate the solution.

    Hello Praveen, the functionality you are shooting for is unusual. However have you looked at leveraging GP macros?

    Praveen,

    There is add-on available from Envisage called postmaster which will do automatic posting for you.  Please click here to have a look at the same.

    Hi Babu,

    Thanks for sharing the Add-on information and link.

    I shared this with my client but they want either out of box or customization at Console Application level.

    we use the post server ( GP agent) application from mc2 software.  it is a gp client that is always up.  I have to restart it once a month or so... once you get it running it is ok, constantly posting batches every 15 minutes.

    Praveen, many of the applications you are having recommended to you will for all intents and purpose appear to the client as OUT OF THE BOX.

    There is no extra application that runs around the system - it is reading the GP data and responding.  

    I have looked into the GP Agent and from I saw it would work as expected and would not interfere with anything else in the GP system.
