I am getting this error when I try to connect CRM to BC. 

You must specify which fields on the table mapping 'Item - CRM Product' should be used for match-based coupling



Does anyone know the issue?

    Hi Judy,

    I have already specified field mapping. I am still not able to synchronize products in D365 to BC. 

     
    I am trying to bring products in D365 to BC. This is not bidirectional. This is from the integration table
     Is there any setting?

    Requirement - When I create a product on the D365 side it should be synchronised to BC. (It should create a new item in BC)

    Hi Judy,

    There is no option to synchronize via the products page.


    But I ran the job queue manually and I got this error. It seems the system is trying to find a record in item table in BC. Why does the system try to update item unit of measure table (table 5404) before updating item table?
    Unit of measure (table 204) coupled with Unit group in D365 sales side. Check screenshots.
    I am trying to synchronize a product available in D365 sales side to BC.

    Hi, you can find unit of measure values in Dynamics 365 Sales go to select Settings (Gear button) and go to Advanced Settings. Click the drop down to the right of Settings and go to Product Catalog under Business.

    Hi Judy,

    Unit of measure is there in D365 sales side. Why am I getting this error in Business central?

    The data could not be updated because of the following error: The field Item No. of table Item Unit of Measure contains a value (+444444) that cannot be found in the related table (Item).

    No issue with unit of measure table in BC (table ID 204) and unit group table in D365 sales. All unit of measures are coupled between BC and D365 sales. 
    The problem is with the item unit of measure table in BC (table ID 5404). It seems BC is trying to add item unit of measure table entry before adding item to the item table (table ID 27).

    Hi, have you checked the Create New If Unable to Find a Match box and try to run Full Synchronization again.
