How can i track the promised quantity vs the quantity that goes in the invoice (invoiced q) on the Sales Order?

My task in to map out or find a way so we can compute the KPI (OTIF). We have mapped out OT (on time) but we need IF (in full). In full meaning: are we delivering the promised quantity on the sales order. But the situation is that we are not delivering the promised quantity on the sales order, because on the Invoiced sales order it can be seen that the promised quantity is changed. So we need to find out how to track the promised quantity vs the quantity that goes in the invoice on the sales order.

I figured out the OT by configuring a package in dynamics, and extracting the needed fields 'promised delivery' and 'shipment date' into an excel. I want to do it again in the same way, as it is more easy for everyone to do it.

There is no standard field for Original/Promised Quantity.

Best way to handle this is through development and adding in this field. We normally suggest the field is set the first time the Sales Order is Released.
