I realy hope somebody can give me a hint what to do.
I have product A, which consisting of raw materials B and C.
One A consists of 2 B and 3 C.
Product A has a serial number. Serial number must be registered, when product are reported as finished.
Product B has a serial number from the supplier. There is a barcode on each B. When we receive Item B, we do not want to register this serial number.
Product A is reported finished – A serial number is added to the specific product.
I need to tell which serial numbers for B is used in the specific product.
How can this be handled in D365 SCM Production module.
Is it possible to make this registration from Production Floor Execution ?
Our product version : Installed product version : 10.0.32 (10.0.1515.44)
Yes, you can use "Adjust material" function from Production Floor Execution and select "Reserve material": learn.microsoft.com/.../production-floor-execution-use
The feature is now on-preview for the part related to advanced warehouse.
Furthermore, if you use the advanced warehouse, the serial number you want to use must already have been taken to the picking location (the alternative is to manage the serial number to be picked in the warehouse work).
