How to add tabs in CRM Dashboards

How do I add additional tabs on a dashboard like I do on a form? Right now, I have to use an existing dashboard then edit it and save it as a new one. I also cannot get more than two tabs on a dashboard.

Can someone help me out please?

Unfortunately, the only way you can add tabs to a Dashboard is via the Dashboard templates (of which, I believe, there are 2, but I can't say for sure which ones). And they only offer 2 tabs.

It might be possible to add additional tabs by modifying the XML directly, but this would be unsupported.

(I know this thread is old, but anyway...)

There is no UI tool to add tabs to a dashboard, so the best possible answer here would be to start again.

My best dashboard tip ever is always to start from a copy of the Marketing Dashboard because that has 3 tabs, with a 4:3:4 layout, which gives you loads of flexibility for different combinations. You can collapse and expand tabs, as well as hide them to get the layout you want.
