Inventory - Unit of Measure Schedule maximum quantity decimal places

My client has a need to have 6 or 7 decimal places for the Quantity within the Unit of Measure Schedule ID.  Dynamics GP allows for a max of 5.  I am not aware of any third party for this, so just wondering if anyone has had this need and how you may have addressed it.

    Dexterity only supports 5 decimal places for this data type
