  • Re: BOM Entry

    Hello Guy,

There are a few settings that would warn a user before using the BOM.

    1. Cards|Manufacturing|Bill of Materials, Effective Date - If the Effective Date is later than the user date the following message will be displayed "This bill of materials isn't effective until x/xx/xxxx. Do you want to continue?"

    2. Cards|Manufacturing|Inventory|Engineering Data, Effective Date - If the Effective Date is later than the user date the following message will be displayed "This item is inactive, obsolete or not presently effective. Do you want to proceed?"

If adding an effective date to your BOM does not correct you issue can you give me a little more information regarding when this error appears.

Enter an Effective Date in the BOM Entry window.
