Hello,

Can anyone help me to understand Dynamics 365 licensing both for online and on premise version I know there is lots of stuff available but I want to understand the latest cost with simpler explanation.

1. If we go for on premise specifically because which version of server OS, SQL and IIS we required and cost of the D365 on premise and server OS?

2. Also for online do we just need to pay the mentioned amount at dynamics.microsoft.com/.../pricing for plans + taxes or there are other charges as well.

3. What Database size storage we get by default and is that shared by both production and non production instances and what cost we need to pay for extra storage when required.

4. Is there any discount as well?

5. Do we need to pay extra cost for accessing instance via tablet or mobile?

answering to your 4th point, they do give you discount if you bargain.

The best way to get the accurate pricing is to get in touch with Microsoft Sales. The pricing may vary and as mentioned above, you may get some discounts based on various factors.

Hi,

as said before you should discuss with Ms and bargain. What you forgot is also the support do you want the basic one or the premier support. You should also take that into account.

For 3, i guess it is 5gb shared across all instance. You can purchase additional storage.

Please do note that all this informatiom can vary. It is best you speak to Microsoft sales to get the exact cost.
