Submitter Comments to reflect Approver in Purchase order workflow template

Hi,

I am trying to add Submitter comment in Work item instructions, however unable to find correct field which would display Workflow Submitter comment to Approver.

I would add this in Work item instruction in workflow approval step. Below picture is not the one I am using and attached only to show that I have other fields working fine defined in Work item instructions.

STEPS:

1. Workflow user submit workflow > Comment Box Pops up > Relevant comment entered in Comment box

2. When this will reach to Approver, they should be able to see Comments entered by user along with other information like Po Amount, Vendor name, PO amount etc

I have tried %Workflow.Last note% , %WorkflowTrackingCommentTable.Comment% .

Hi,

I tested your scenario and its working, see my setup and result below.

I have added a template in the workflow

I have added the below placeholders

Approvers are seeing the result while approving the PO

Also, email is coming like the below

Firstly, Thank you for taking out time to test this.

I tried earlier %Workflow.Last note% but this wasnt working for me.

I tried using the work instruction shown by you, but still its not working.

Attached below screenshot showing Setup in workflow instruction , Comment entered (snap from workflow history) and Message for Approver:

Hi Gaurav,

I also mentioned and shared the steps with email template, have you tried after that setup?

Make sure you use %Subject% in the subject of the template and %message% on the email body of xml file.
