Create anchor tag / hyperlink for text single line field

Hi ,

I have one requirement where I want to create hyperlink to the value of single line field(text format). I don't want to use url format field (this is as per the user requirement). Can anybody suggest me is it possible in supported / unsupported way ?

Why do you not want to use URL format field?

If you want to to some scripting then you can take help from below link:

Hi Pravin ,

You can create custom HTML web resource and get the text field value and display the text with adding link.

I add a web resource with html and above content but on clicking the link does not work even though the Link 1 HREF when type in browser it works , I have changed the IP .

Hi,

Please make sure in the web-resource control properties (on the form), you uncheck- "Restrict cross-frame scripting, where supported."
