Workflow Error

Hello,

I am working on trying to create a Sales Order Credit Limit Approval Workflow in Microsoft Business Central however I am getting an error message that states" You cannot use Sales Header: S-ORDER116908 for this action. The restriction was imposed by the 10/2/2024 CL WKFLOW workflow, Sales Order Credit Limit Approval Workflow."

There is two of us who I want to have "unlimited approval" which you see below"

There is two of us who do not have ANY approvals as they are Customer Customer Reps who are placing the Sales Orders

I thought by putting the two of us that have "unlimited approval" in the workflow user group with a sequence # 1 would allow for any one of us to approve at any time as I set myself up as his "delegate" when he needs to delegate workflows to me.

Can you please assist in troubleshooting what I maybe doing wrong here?

Workflow Error

The order might be blocked already from your previous testing. Try looking searching for the Restricted Records page and see if that contains your order. If it does then delete the entry. After this try the workflow again.

Workflow Error

The approval user setup approval limit is for Direct user approval so it doesn't work on workflow user group. If you set both approver as 1. Then by default, each approver needs to approve the workflow to release it.

You could make changes to the workflow setup to allow the request to be released if one of the 2 approvers approves. Please refer to the steps below.
