which ribbon to edit?

Hi,

I've been asked to add a custom button to a page on CRM online. Having read his article:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg334341.aspx

I now have a little more knowledge about how to make the change but I'm unable to see instruction about which ribbon XML file I need to amend to make the change. Is there an easy way to determine which ribbon file is used for each page?

Thanks in advance

    hi katy,

    -> create a solution and add the entity(which one's ribbon you want to customize).

    ->then Export the solution.

    ->you will get a .zip file, save it and extract it.

    ->there will be file called Customization.xml.

    ->Open and edit ribbondiffxml section. thats all.

    Hi Katy,

    You can also use Scott Durow's Ribbon Workbench, as described in this article.
