Alert data not saved when session timed out

One of my customer ancounter a problem of data are not saved in case of session timed out.
Basically the data users entered would be saved, but in some circumstance，
they are not saved and the session is timed out.
Users  have to enter agian. 
Can D365 show an alert that the data are not saved and wait for user to confirm?

    Hi Daniel,
     
    This is not possible. Users will get an alert before a session gets timed out. (Are you still there?). In case details are entered and people will walk away or will join e.g. an online meeting, they first need to ensure the data entry is complete and save their work. In case there are validation errors, anyway it can't save data automatically.

    If the user doesn't want to lose their data, they should save it.
     
    You could adjust the session timeout duration to be longer?

    I agree with you that data should be validated before saved.
    So it's users' responsiblity to save data before leaving D365FO.
