I need to bulk edit records in CRM but it seems that Microsoft has chosen to make this difficult in 2013. In 2011 you could easily export all the pages in a view (up to 10,000 records total) and then re-import. That doesn't appear to be possible anymore.

How does one accomplish that these days?

You can re-import only if the XML file downloaded in less than 8 MB is size. You can do bulk edit in CRM 2013 also. Nothing has been changed.

If you have more records then better write a workflow to update the records and run against them using Bulk Workflow Execution tool.

You can select the option Records from all the pages and check the previous check box to make the data available for re-importing. I tried this, it worked for me.

Hi ,

You can export the data by selecting the option "make available for reimport and select worksheet with records of all pages"

In order to import you have go for Settings->Data Management and click on "imports" then you can find import button on ribbon. you can re-import the data after the editing the records.

I need to get out more...

I could have sworn that in the past when I checked the radio button (as you've highlighted) that the "Make this data available..." option became greyed out.
