Hi,

I'm trying to import the .bacpac file exported  from UAT to the LCS , But I was expecting to see the data once I imported this backup to the new environment , What I missed in this process ?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

    Did you check this docs?
    Export: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/database/export-database

    Import: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/database/import-database

I'm not sure what means data missing? If the .bacpac size is too low, it might be data is not exported properly and try again.

And If you mean Exported DB from Tier2(UAT) to Import into Tier1(Dev), please use sqlpackage.exe to import.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/database/dbmovement-scenario-exportuat#import-the-database

After import, please stop 3 windows services and rename new database to AxDB and restart the services.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/database/dbmovement-scenario-exportuat#start-to-use-the-new-database

Finally, please overwrite sysadmin with Admin User Provisioning tool and run Database Sync via Visual Studio.

    Hi Taichi ,

I have followe the same steps of exporting and importing through LCS, I have imported into a new deployed UAT environment and that was because moving the datacenter , but unfortunately I did  not see any change in the data after the import has been completed , Is there any action should be done after import from LCS to use the restored DB?

    Hi Ahmed,

It's curious because this is very simple steps to use Move database by LCS. Please see the environment history in new deployed UAT and ensure import has successfully ended via log. If it's succeeded even not change any, you had better to request Microsoft support.

    Hi,

I have seen in the history the action is "Rollback completed" , Is that correct or should be in another status ?

"Rollback completed" means import could not complete. Please retry Move Database(import) again and ensure the status should be "Completed". If once you face "Rollback completed" again, please raise Microsoft support ticket from LCS work items. They can troubleshoot in DB.
