How to configure region-specific restrictions and warnings in the Export Control Add-in

Hi everyone,

I’m currently setting up rules in the Export Control Add-in for Dynamics 365 and would appreciate your help.

Here’s what I’d like to achieve:

  1. Block the export of items with a certain code (e.g. dual-use goods) to all countries outside the EU
  2. Display a warning message (but not block the sale) when items with a different code are sold within the EU.

When setting up the restrictions, I currently only see the option to either select all countries at once or to define a separate restriction for each country. That’s not very efficient for managing regional rules.

My question:

Is there a way to define restrictions and warnings based on country groups or regions (like “EU” or “non-EU”) instead of having to select countries one by one?

Any advice, examples, or best practices would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
