Cancel delivery notes with adv. WH posted from sales order.

Hi All,

We have a situation where users at a client are using adv. WH for sales order picking and does the confirm shipment until it is status Shipped. However, instead of using the post delivery note on the Load, they use the post delivery note from the sales order with "picked" as a parameter. This is all good.

When trying to cancel a delivery note we try to use the cancel / correct function via the sales order, however, this states "The delivery note correction cannot be processed. The delivery note only contains items that are subject to warehouse management processes, as these are not supported by delivery note correction." On the load record, there is no delivery note linked as it was not posted from here. Can anybody advise if there is a workaround I'm missing or if this combination simply is possible, but end in a deadlock?
