We implemented Shopify with Business central and have sucessfull sync SKU, Inventory, Images e.t.c
The Sync is ONLY FROM BC to SHOPIFY.

Facing below 2 problem where need help.

1. We have 3 preferred UPS services enabled in shopify. We also have state wise rates defined based on weight (over/under 800). The problem is that the 3 preferred service is not updated on Shopify Shipment method. Can anyone advise.

2. The system do not have variants defined in Business Central, however customer had defined variant manually like Color, Collection, Size as variant on Shopify. When sync item for first time from BC to Shopify the system create a variant line for each SKU as shown below. The issue is that system also populate the UOM option ID = 2 and when creating the sales order, system says 2 X 6 (Its Size) is not defined as UOM.

I have read the shopify troubleshoot documentation and seen few videos from community, but did not get any resolution.

Any help and insight will be highly appreciated.

    Hello ,

    1) UPS services

BC does not sync Shopify carrier services (UPS Ground / 2nd Day / Next Day).

Only the shipping method name + amount sync.

You must manually map Shopify method names to BC Shipment Methods.

    2) Shopify variants

Shopify-only variants (Size/Color) are not supported.

BC treats Shopify options as UOM, causing the “2×6 UOM not found” error.

Variants must exist in BC first, or use separate SKUs per variation.

    Bottom line:
BC is the system of record.
Carrier services and variants must be designed BC-first, not Shopify-first.

    Regards,
