Qualifying all leads against a company via a workflow

Hi

I'm wondering if it is possible to qualify all leads for a company following a trigger. For example, when the relationship type field updates to 'client' to qualify all the leads against that company to contacts.

With the MSCRMWorkflowUtilities against 'Lead - Lookup - Required' and the value box, you only have the option to either pick a specific lead, or set the field so that it qualifies the Originating Lead. Is there a way to add a value to this field so that it is all leads associated to that company, not just the originating one?

Or failing this function, another way completely to get all leads to automatically qualify to contacts once the parent account relationship type = client?

    Hi,

    You can create On-demand worfklow, which will qualify lead like below,

    After that you can do to the advance find view and you can query and get the account leads and then you can trigger worfklow on that records.Check below screenshot.

    Hi,

    Most probably, you need to create your own custom workflow or plugin to do that, MSCRMWorkflowUtilities was built to handle one record only i believe.

    In this case you can use custom workflow utility and trigger on update of relationship Type=client. in custom workflow you can retrieve all leads which are associated to triggered company and qualify all lead

    How can you retrieve all leads that are associated to the triggered company? That's what i can work out how to do. I can only see to do this for 'originating lead'

    Hi

    Thanks for sending this through, we can do it as on demand however, I want to make sure that once the lead is qualified a contact is automatically created - pulling all information from the lead across to the contact.

    Is this possible?

    Yes the existing account field is used to link the lead to the account

    Hi,

    You can try plugin on account entity on change of relationship type. If Type=Client, the plugin can run and find all open leads against the particular account and qualify programmatically.

    I have made some changes in my workflow like above you can check, now when a lead gets Qualify using On demand workflow it will also create Contact for it.
