Adjust exchange rate per month

Hi,

Working with Business Central Saas, it sounds the Adjust Exchange Rate report is always recalculating all the previous entries, ignoring the Starting Date filed in the launch report.

For exemple, with the setup bellow, BC is still recalculating all the documents posted before the 01/10/2024. Any idea how to get it workable only for the period I choose?

Adjust exchange rate per month

Thank you Valentin for confirming my worries.

We want to apply an adjustment rate per month, howevere, the way BC is working is ignoring the starting date, reworking all the entries by applying only the Posting date rate to all the entries.

For example here, the system will take only the adjument rate set to the 31/10/24 per currency and apply it for all the entries, even before the 01/10/24 ignoring the adjustment rate set in the other lines.

This seems terribly wrong accroding to me.

Adjust exchange rate per month

I tested and I can confirm that I had the same result - it appear to be a bug. You can put in a support request to Microsoft, as I don't believe there is a workaround you can do. However, could you clarify why you’re not adjusting all the dates? Typically, the starting date is left blank to ensure all dates are adjusted.
