Run the detailed sales report and when you set the Filter select "Last sold" from the column on the left. Then in the Range (right side) select the date range.
Note: That the date range will show you all the items that were last sold during that time. so if you want to see all the items that have not sold in the last 6 months, set the date range from the day you opened to 6 months ago.
Any items sold in the last 6 months will not be in the results because their "Last Sold" date will be greater than 6 months ago.
Hope this makes sense it's kind of backwards but it works.
