Hi all,
I would like to change the sub description captions in the item properties window to more useful term. I know it can be done in Store Ops. Can it be done in HQ Manger.

You can change it in HQ Database
Table name: CustomCaption
Style/ID 16,17,18.
You can only change these in HQ by editing the HQ database directly. The table is CustomCaption.
You can use sql server management studio. this will allow you to connect and edit tables in a graphic environment.
If you provide the desired captions, we could possibly create you an update statement that you can then run from HQ Admin.

Modify the HQLanguage.DAT file using notepad in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Retail Management System\Headquarters. Look for S6592 from the list.
You have to give modify and write permission to the users.
