Can product variants have their own weights?

Hi everyone!!

I see that weights can be assigned at the Product Master level using the "Physical dimensions" page, but where can I assign weights at the Product Variant level? I need this capability so I can pull in the weight of received inventory on a license plate label. Currently, I can only capture the weight on a license plate label for a Product Master.

Does this feature even exist yet?

THANK YOU!!!
I have the same question (1)

    Hi,

When you go to the Released product variants, you can click on the item number of a selected variant. Here you can maintain dimension weights.

    Hi,

It is not available out of box,

    Note

You can't use physical dimensions to create product variants. Physical dimensions are specified on the product master and are shared by all its variants."

You can consider customization to add three fields for depth/length/width. or utilize some existing text string to save dimension in a particular format like 2X3X4.

PS: @André Arnaud de Calavon, It seems that replenishment weights are altogether different functionality..

, I'm aware of the feature. I understood from the question that a weight would be used to be printed on labels. I do assume custom labels will be printed. Then this is a place where you can set some values maybe a bit incorrectly using these standard fields.

As alternative, also custom fields can be added.
