Manufacturing: Default Location Code

Hi:

In what window can you tell Business Central Manufacturing to use a certain Location as the default Location, for a new Released Production Order?

    Hi John,

    On manufacturing Setup page you have to enter components location code that will help define default location for Release Production Order.

    Hi John

    At Manufacturing Setup Page we have one Filed with name "Components at Location", so when you create a new Release Production Order For Entry Type "Consumption" System will take by default this location but for Entry Type "Output", you have enter the Location Manually either at Production Journal or Output Journal.

    Hi All:

    I had my location specified in Manufacturing Setup, yet, it did not default into the Released Production Order.

    Very strange...

    Hi John

    It won’t reflect at Released Production Order page.

    When you go to line fast tab there is production journal function, when you click on that you will get that location for entry type consumption

    Hi John

    If by default location you mean location in Released Production order header to always populate that location I am afraid this required minor customization.
