Create new note (annotation) using JavaScript

Hi experts,

In the case record, there is an out of the box social pane which shows a "notes" tab.

I have a custom optionset field called new_activitycode. The value that the user selects in this optionset should be appended to the title when the user creates a note for the record (on click of "done" button).

How can I accomplish this using Javascript? Any help / sample code would be appreciated as I'm a rookie at Scripting.

Hi Arpit,

I tried it using your plugin code and registered it using the plugin registration tool as well (I also followed your post for logging in to plugin registration tool as i was unable to login :)).

However it doesn't seem to be working. I'll post my code and screenshots in my other post for your reference.
