Using Config. Packages and the Warehouse Item Journal Successfully

When you are implementing Business Central with Advanced Warehousing, or otherwise trying to load inventory for Business Central with Advanced Warehousing it can be tricky. This can be handled with a Config. Package but it is not very straight forward. I will simplify the process.

  1. Create a Config Package for Table 7311.
  2. Change the Field Order using the "Move Up" and "Move Down" buttons (match the placement in the attached Excel example).
  3. Export to Excel from the Config. Pack to get your template and fill in your data.
  4. Import from Excel and Apply the Config. package.
  5. Go to the Warehouse Journal and Post.
  6. Go to the Item Journal and run the "Calculate Warehouse Adjustment" function and Post.

The issue I run into if you do not change the Field Order is that you cannot do the "Calculate Warehouse Adjustment" in the Item Journal, nothing happens. Changing the Field Order fixes this issue.

Enjoy!

After all, you require to secure your cleaners utilize products and methods that are thorough but at a similar time School cleaners won’t hurt the children in any pathway.
