Hi,

If I add a line discount on my sales order, and then change the quantity (the customer called back and wanted more of one item), the line discount changes back to empty.

Is there something I can do about this so the line discount doesn't change?

You can define the discount for this item for this Vendor. Then changing the Quantity would re-check the set discounts and place it. For example if You buy 10 pieces You get 10% discount, but if You buy 20 pieces, You get 15% discount. Also the period when this discount is active (for example special Christmas offer etc)

Hi, This is standard behavior and cannot be done without customization. Unless you add a default discount like KasparsSemjonovs mentioned, but that's probably not the value you just entered manually.
