How to copy a custom field from Lead BPF to Opportunity during Lead Qualification

Hello Community,

We have a custom option set field on Lead BPF that we want to copy to an option set field on the Opportunity form upon Lead Qualification. Is this possible? I tried to do this via a workflow to update qualifying opportunity form, but the custom lead field was not visible to select when trying to update the option set field on the opportunity form. However, I tested with a text field on the opportunity form and the custom lead field was visible to select to update the field. We need the corresponding field on the opportunity to be an option set field because users have the option of creating an opportunity manually.
