I would like to create a View to see all records populated Notes with relevant LEADS details. I should be able to see this View on the front pane window. Currently there are no options to see the views relating to NOTES via the front pane window....please help?

Out of box there is no place where notes can be seen like other entities. What you can do is create dashboard with list type and  add your own custom system view to show all notes related to lead , in this view you can also add columns from lead entity .

    Hi CRav,

You will need to create a new View against the Note entity. To do this:

    1. Navigate to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System

    2. In the Default Solution Window, expand the Entities > Note node and click on the Views node

    3. Edit an existing View or create a new one selecting the columns you wish to show, including columns from the related Lead.

    4. Save your changes

    5. Create a new Dashboard which shows your view in a grid.

    6. Publish your changes.

    Hope this helps

System does not show Notes as entity when you create dashboard.
Here is the steps to add Notes entity view into the dashboard list component.
1.Create new solution and add new system dashboard/choose existing one
2.Add list component to the dashboard and choose any entity and any view , save and publish the dashboard.
    3.Export the solution
4.From the zip file copy customization.xml so that you can edit in any xml editor.
5.Open the xml file , search for tag <TargetEnityType> and replace the entityname with annotation and <ViewId> replace with your custom Notes viewID
6.Save the file and put it back into zip , import publish it.
