This unit of measure does not exist for this item

Hello:

Upon trying to create a purchase order in GP 2013 SP2, we're getting the following error message:  "This unit of measure does not exist for this item".

Yes, it does.

When I try to go into the Item Purchasing Options Maintenance window to assign "Each" to the item as the Default Purchasing U of M, we get the following message:  "This U of M does not exist on the U of M Schedule for EACH".

Yes, it does.

I checked the IV00106 table, and it is true that this item does not exist in this table.

How do I fix all of this?

Thanks!

John

This has been resolved.  I simply changed the U of M Schedule for the item to another Schedule temporarily.

Then, I changed the item back to the correct U of M Schedule.

This allowed me to set a default Unit of Measure in the Item Purchasing Options window.

    We're all set.

    Thank you!
