Hi,

If you add more details then it will be better for understanding of your question/requirement.

But as far as I get from your question: There are a number of decisions involved at planning worksheet so better to be run manually and for required.

Regardless of this, you can execute any report or code unit in the background using job queue after regular intervals.

Hi :),

The purpose of wanting BC to automatically run the planning worksheet is not to carry out the action but to allow someone to run the requisition worksheet. As the requisition worksheet cannot be populated before the planning worksheet being populated first.

Hi,

As far as I know Requisition Worksheet can be used without Planning Worksheet. Yes, but if you need to run calculate net or regenerative plans then planning worksheet is required before.

Functionally on this I cannot given any opinion I have not much knowledge on this module but in terms of development both calculate regenerative plan and calculate net plan are reports and you can run reports automatically in the background after regular intervals using job queue. If these reports need some user input then you cannot use them properly using job queue.

We had the same question recently and the answer is no. I wish the answer was yes since it makes a lot of sense.

Adding to Bilal's reply... You can setup a Job Queue extension to define your Planning Worksheet or Requisition Worksheet to running overnight based on parameters you fill in on the Option page. You can work with your Partner to accomplish this. I have done this before.
