Disable Ship button on In-Transit Transfer

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Is there a way to disable the "Ship" button on the In-Transit Inventory window?  The users would need to print other inventory transactions.

    Hi Leslie,

That definitely would have worked and they do have a customization site license.  I ended up using Field Level Security and hiding, rather than disabling, the Ship button and it works fine...at least in test it does :).

If you disable the ship button in Modifier (Editable = False), it will not be re-enabled.

You'll need to grant security to the modified window in order to implement the change.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

I was able to disable it when I initially open the window using Field Level Security.  However, when I pull up an existing In Transit Transaction, the Ship button is re-enabled.  How can I prevent that from happening?
